RECO – a versatile line concept
with a thousand solutions

RECO combines decades of development: innovative strength lies in experience, success lies in performance. The modules and components of the series are subject to ongoing further development and optimisation.

The RECO machine series

With its outstanding flexibility and individual design, the RECO can handle all modern coating and laminating tasks. Line configuration is adapted to meet customer requirements.

Various coating methods are available for the different tasks. A change of coating compound or the working width can be carried out quickly and easily using trolley technology and/or sleeve technology. Downtimes are minimised.

  • Solvent-/ water-based or polymeric coating compounds
  • Thermally drying or radiation-crosslinking
  • Anilox rollers, smooth rollers, comma blades, dies/curtain coaters, Meyer doctor bars
  • One-sided and/or double-sided coating and various special forms
  • Working widths from 500 mm to 3,300 mm
  • Production speeds over 1,000 m/min

The RECO is mainly used for the manufacture of technical products, flexible packaging materials and products for renewable energies. All modules used in the RECO series, such as winders, coating units and dryer lines are also available individually to supplement existing lines.

The RECO is available for customer trials at the KROENERT Technology Center.

Various examples of application

Silicone and contact adhesive line

Configuration of a coating and laminating line for the production of label material. The modules of the RECO series are designed so that single lines for production in several operations are possible, as well as tandem lines for inline production.

Silicone coating line

A RECO 800 A for siliconising paper substrates used as release liners for labels and adhesive tapes, for example, as well as graphic, hygienic and medical products.
Solvent-free and thermally crosslinking silicones are coated.

PVdC coating line

Line for functional coating of packaging materials and films based on PVdC and acrylates.
This concept was built with components from the RECO series, for max. working widths of 2,500 mm.
