The PAK 600/610 and the PAK 400 series
The PAK 600
The PAK 600, with web widths of 500 to 1600 mm and production speeds of 300 m/min, was designed for the processing of paraffins, waxes and hotmelts.
It is used particularly for single and double-sided paraffin coating of paper, wax lamination of aluminum/paper, OPP/paper, PET/paper, and aluminum/OPP laminates, as well as single and double-sided hotmelt coatings and laminating of different substrates.
The PAK 610
The new generation KROENERT PAK series processes waxes and hotmelts at temperatures of up to 180°C with a maximum web width of 1300 mm and at speeds of up to 300 m/min.
The flexible coating head ensures its suitability for a variety of applications:
- Single-sided high gloss and matt wax coating
- Double-sided wax coating (dipping)
- Wax lamination for two-component composites (Aluminum/Paper, OPP/Paper etc.)
- Processing of hotmelts for adhesive tapes and PSA labels
- solventfree lamination with one and two component adhesives
Specialized developments, including the following lines, have evolved from the PAK 600/610 series:
As a line for the manufacturing of label materials and adhesive tapes, it processes hotmelt adhesives, which are transferred to the web using rollers. A notable feature of this line is its overhead coating system which makes its very compact design possible.
PAK 400 D
As a line for the manufacturing of label materials and adhesive tapes, it processes hotmelt adhesives, which are transferred to the web using a nozzle. This enables the direct coating of thermoplastic films.
Depending on the technical process requirements, the web can be run underneath and on top.
PAK 400 EP
As a line for the manufacturing of epoxy resin films for prepregs and composites, in which the resins are processed in a molten stage and transferred using rollers. Compact designs are possible, and accuracy as well as a short web paths are quality criterions.
