Our Brand Names

If your application uses a drying channel, we call the complete production line a "RECO". The name is then extended by the type of the coating system that is used. So you get for example a "RECO 800".
If your application does not use a drying channel, the complete production line is called a "PAK". This name is also extended by the type of the coating system that is used (e.g. "PAK 800").

Examples of Complete Production Lines

In order to give you a good impression of the entire spectrum of possible applications we would now like to introduce you to three very different production lines:

Example 1

A coating and laminating machine for paraffin/wax and hotmelt, the "PAK 600". This production line has been designed for web widths between 625 and 1,250 mm and a production speed of about 300 m/min. Production tasks are single-sided and double-sided paraffin-coating of paper and wax lamination of the material combinations aluminum/paper, micro-perforated OPP/paper, micro-perforated PET/paper, and aluminum/OPP, and single-sided and double-sided hotmelt coating of paper and different combined materials.

Example 2

A fast-running double-sided laquer coating machine, the "RECO 800A". This production line has been designed for web widths between 800 and 1,650 mm and a production speed of up to approx. 1,000 m/min. In particular, this production line is used for pre-and post-laquer coating of cigarette paper with water-based laquers, including the intermediate step of metallization. An option is glue lamination of paper with aluminum foil.
The key components of the production line are two 800A coating systems. These coating systems can be extended to ensure a quick change of the coating system.
The winders are double turning unwinders and rewinders which make it possible to perform a flying bale change at production speed.

Example 3

An offline production line for single-sided and double-sided laquer coating and silicone-coating. This RECO 800A processes webs with widths between 800 and 2,300 mm at a production speed between approx. 200 - 400 m/min. In general, processed materials are PE and PP (between 30 and 200 µm), PET and BOPP (between 12 and 130 µm), and paper/PE, PE/paper, and PE/paper/PE (between 60 and 250 g/m2).
