C2 Innovation Award 2011 to KROENERT

On the occasion of the ICE in Munich this year, Dr. Tarik Vardag and Michael Schmalz (picture) could receive the treasured award. They were honored for the ground-breaking development of a new grid roller sleeve technology for coating and laminating systems. Maintaining all characteristics of the grid roller usage in coating, the sleeve technology additionally allows for a significant reduction of the set-up times and an increase of the production line's service life. At the same time, the work conditions of the machine operators are made considerably easier.
