Kroenert is certified AEO member

The growth of global trade and increasing security threats of the international movement of goods initiated the World Customs Organisation (WCO) to draft framework of standards to secure and facilitate global trade (SAFE).

The European Union introduced the certificate AEO to this framework. This stands for "Authorised Economic Operator".

Maschinenfabrik Max Kroenert GmbH & Co KG has been certified by the customs authorities as AEO. The exact status is AEO-C (customs).

This is our “first step” and contribution for a safer trade chain.

The “AEO” is considered as particularly reliable and trustworthy in the international goods management. Therefore he receives special privileges regarding the customs clearance. All customs formalities can be completed more efficiently.
This status entitles to simplifications in accordance with the customs regulations.

In the meantime this certification will be noticed worldwide as an important quality criterion. To reach the AEO-status, substantial requirements, like observance of legalisation, reliability and solvency must be fulfilled.
