Maintenance contract enables 98% machine availability
|
Are you already making use of the Kroenert Service and Maintenance Contract? The consistently positive response we have received from our customers to this service has motivated us to make this offer available to customers with older coating and laminating machines.
Even small defective parts can lead to major consequential damage if the problem is not identified and rectified in good time. Early defect identification through regular maintenance and inspection creates security and considerably extends the life of machines.
The goal is to maintain consistently good condition and avoiding failure and downtime due to mechanical breakdown. Two service specialists conduct in-depth inspections of all electric and mechanical machine components, repair all major problems immediately and compile a detailed report, including recommendations for the replacement of worn parts, mechanical weaknesses and expedient changes. Inspections are based on a checklist designed specifically for respective machines. The mechanics spend two days on site with the customer; one day is spent on maintenance while the machine is not in operation, and the next is spent observing the operating machine and taking any further action necessary.
This procedure should minimize possible shutdowns and losses. A survey of long-standing service customers indicated that the availability of machines shows a constant increase of one to two percent per year, and that availability of 98% is not unusual!
Aside from the improved life and availability of machines, the service contract has other advantages. For example, emergency response within 24 hours, excluding travel time, can be guaranteed. Added to this are reductions in the costs of servicing and for spare and wear parts.
